Professor Qicai Wang is the Professor of the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine; General Secretary of Clinical Branch of China Acupuncture Association; Honorary Academia of American Natural Medicine Institute; Adjunct Professor of New York College of Chinese Medicine, USA; Academic Advisor of Canadian Chinese Medicine Institute; Special-term Professor of School of Chinese Medicine at the Hong Kong University; and Advisor and Adjunct Professor of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Institute. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Acupuncture Therapeutics, the textbook for New Century National Chinese Medicine Higher Education, Reviewer-in-Chief of Acupuncture, the textbook for Chinese Medicine Adults Education. Prof Wang has published more than 500 journal articles and authored/co-authored over 60 books. His representative acupuncture books in recent years include Wang Qicai’s New Acupuncture, Solving Acupuncture Problems, Qicai’s Understanding of Acupuncture, Level II Meridians (Chinese and English edition). He was awarded as “Advanced Science and Technology Worker” in 2006, and in 2010, he received the “Golden Microphone Award” for popularising Chinese medicine in China, both of which are the only one in Acupuncture field. In this seminar, Prof Wang will share his understanding and clinical experience in using acupuncture to treat depression.
