Dr Liu Chi Jing graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1983 and received advanced training at the Department of Dermatology, Guang An Men Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Beijing from 1983 to 1985. Since 1988, he has been practicing in his own Chinese Medicine clinic in Melbourne until now. During the practice, he made regular journeys to seek and learn from experts in Chinese medicine. He has accumulated rich clinical experience. In 2010, he passed the examinations set by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and obtained the title “Chief Physician”. Dr Liu not only serves as the Secretary-General of FCMA but also holds positions in other organisations and institutions such as Executive Member of the Presidium of WFCMS, President of Pulse Manifestation of WFCMS, Visiting Professor at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Shandong University of Chinese Medicine. In 2008 he was awarded Justice of the Peace by the Victorian Government. Dr Liu has been practicing for over 30 years. Currently his focus is on pulse diagnosis and navel acupuncture. His findings have been presented in the international conferences (eg. pulse and dermatology), which has been well accepted by the audience. In this seminar, Dr Liu will share his experience on the clinical application of Chinese herbs according to pulse diagnosis by analysing his real cases.
