Dr Qing Yuan is the Professor of Acupuncture and PhD supervisor. He graduated from Department of Clinical Medicine, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GUCM) in 1984. Since then, he has been working at GUCM until now. He is experienced in applying Jin’s Three Needle techniques to treat various diseases. He is the successor of Professor Rui Jin’s experience and academic leader of Jin’s Three Needle techniques authenticated by the National Department of Human Resources and Health as well as State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. He has been working in teaching, clinical practice and research in acupuncture for over 30 years. Currently he is the Director, Research Centre for Jin’s Three Needle Techniques and the Director, Clinical Acupuncture Group, Clinical Medical College of Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Rehabilitation at GUCM. He has published more than ten medical books and nearly a hundred journal articles. He is leading three national research projects funded by China’s National Natural Science Foundation. He has completed many provincial research projects.
