 COMPLAINTS PROCESS: AHPRA’s role; How to avoid complaints; How to manage a complaint made
against you; How to make a complaint.
 MANDATORY REPORTING OF ABUSE: The law and the different rules for children and adults.
Robin Marchment is a registered practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture with 20 years’
clinical experience. She has lectured and presented seminars since 2000 and authored 3 textbooks on Chinese
medicine. She was examiner for the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria (CMRBV), was on the
CMRBV Reference Group, the Registration Committee of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA), and
the CMBA Technical Advisory Group for the “Safe Practice of Chinese Herbal Medicine”, and is an AHPRA
accreditation assessor. Her experience with legal process includes being expert witness in VCAT hearings and in
the Victorian Magistrate’s Court.
